Hailing from Fayetteville, Arkansas, Jack A. Cleghorn is a recent graduate of Westminster Choir College with a Master of Music in Sacred Music. At Westminster, Jack studied organ with Matthew Lewis and performed under the batons of Michael Tilson Thomas, Dr. Joe Miller, and Sir Roger Norrington.While at Westminster Jack served as a the finance board's graduate trustee and trustee at-large, a representative of the guest artist committee and was also the choral accompanist for the Master Singers .
He received a Bachelor of Arts in Music degree from the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina, where he majored in Organ Performance and served as the accompanist and assistant director for the Concert and University Choirs. During his time in Charleston, he served as the Remington Organ Scholar at Grace Episcopal Church until he assumed the role of Choir Director and Organist at Harborview Presbyterian Church. Mr. Cleghorn was also selected as a featured artist in Spoleto International's Piccolo Spoleto L'Organo series.
An avid collaborative artist, Mr. Cleghorn enjoys playing for instrumental and vocal soloists, chamber ensembles and choirs of all sizes. Currently, Jack serves as an artistic staff member of the renowned Princeton Girlchoir.
