VOICES Programs
|
 |
|
|
For the Community,
|
VOICES not only holds concerts exemplifying the best in
vocal music performanceold and new, familiar and cutting edge, but also
includes information designed to educate the public about the compositional
aspects of choral music. The conductor often begins a performance by
demonstrating various musical elements audiences will hear, as well as
explaining any special instruments or techniques involved.
VOICES strives to interest audiences through presenting
information in an engaging way and inviting audiences to sing specific folk
tunes or carols. |

Community Outreach
Concerts |
|
| |
VOICES performs one-hour community outreach concerts from
time to time for audiences that might not otherwise hear good choral singing
for example, retirement homes and villages, Trenton Psychiatric Hospital
residents, small town churches and other intimate settings.
